Why Work With a Functional Nutritionist?
There are 6 Foundations of Health:
Blood Sugar Balance
Essential Fatty Acids
When these foundations are out of balance, a myriad of symptoms occur that could send you in circles treating symptoms.
As a Functional Nutritionist, I look at which, if any, foundations are out of balance, and in what way(s) they are in need of support. I look for commonalities in symptoms that may otherwise appear to be disconnected. This allows me to see what is the highest priority, and how best to get you on the road to optimal wellness.
How do I do that?
I'll investigate to see if we need to work on proper digestion first, or blood sugar support. Do we need to prioritize adrenal support before dietary modifications? Are you in need of lifestyle and/or supplement recommendations?
You can work with me alone, or alongside your other healthcare providers, and we can focus on helping your body thrive through diet and lifestyle modifications, and making sure you are properly digesting and absorbing what you eat.
I’d love to help you optimize your health through personalized nutrition!

Let's Work Together
How does a Nutritionist differ from a Dietitian?
Nutritionists are trained to help clients reach health goals through foundational nutrition and behavior change education. We do not diagnose or treat disease, and we do not "prescribe" meal plans. We are a part of healthcare that contribute to improving a client's health and wellness.
Do you require lab work? Can you order labs?
I do not require lab work. I offer Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) and GI-Map functional lab testing. If appropriate, I may recommend other lab work or tests that can be ordered through your Primary Care Provider or a licensed physician.
Do you take insurance?
I am not currently contracted with any insurance plans. I accept Stripe prior to services.
